Rentals at Temple of Creative Arts
Host your next event in the historic Temple of Creative Arts, TōCA for short. The 1915 building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
In addition to housing sophisticated, high-quality theatrical productions, TōCA is an elegant space for all types of events to serve the Ottumwa area. TōCA is situated on Ottumwa’s Main Street within the historically Jewish neighborhood, steps from local shops, restaurants and the Ottumwa Community School District High School and Downtown Campus.
It is preferrable request space at least six weeks in advance.
Please be patient with our volunteer rental staff. Rentals are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. Inquiries submitted far in advance will receive priority.

The Gleich Family Theater
The Gleich Family Theater is the performance venue located in Temple of Creative Arts. Originally, it served as the worship space for the former Jewish congregation. It has carefully been repurposed to host a variety of functions from parties to theatrical performances while maintaining its historical appeal. The Gleich Family Theater is equipped with theatrical amenities, including a lighting grid and a sound system.

The Boardroom/Lobby
The Boardroom/Lobby has connectivity and a 75-inch mobile television. The venue offers an exclusive setting for boardroom meetings and presentations and can be reconfigured to accomodate large and small family gatherings, pre-function events and parties. It is immediately adjacent to the catering kitchen.

The Terrace Garden
The Terrace Garden is a unique outdoor space replete with colorful mural that is great for parties, weddings, pre- or post-function events or just for hanging out while the party continues inside. The Terrace Garden has electrical power available.
