Ready to Compete?

 

  1. Competitors will arrive no later than 4pm to set up their station; Competition/tasting begins at 5pm

  2. Competitors will make up to 125 – 3oz Burgers; 4 burgers for judges and others for attendees

  3. Competitors will bring everything that they will need for their burger: tailgate style grill, propane, charcoal, electrical connection, knives, cutting boards, plate ware, etc.

  4. There is a $20 fee per entry

 

Competitors Must Use the Following Items

 

  1. Your burger may have other ingredients, which may be added to patty (Such as spices, vegetables, other meats, etc.)

  2. Burgers will be 3-oz. sliders, your choice of protein. Qty. 125 – 3oz sliders.

  3. All burgers must be composed of a formed patty served on a provided bun or other self-provided bread products such as biscuits, focaccia, or pita. Burgers may include any combination of condiments such as ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, etc., Sauces Such as barbeque or hot sauce, cheeses of your choice and toppings such as bacon, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce, etc. Every component of the burger must be placed between bun or bread pieces.

Cancellation Policy: Fees must be included with application form and are non-refundable after registration unless space can be reassigned to another vendor. In this case, there will be a 20% cancellation fee withheld from your refund. There are NO Refunds for cancellations within 3 weeks prior to the event.

Unloading & Setting Up: You will be allowed to set up the afternoon of event after all spaces are marked approximately 2pm. Your booth will be assigned to you when you check-in, your booth and table must be set up by 4pm.

Judging at 5pm – Awards at 7pm

Judges will vote on Iowa Burger Bash 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

1st Place -$500 and Burger Bash Trophy

2nd Place -$300 and Burger Bash Metal

3rd Place -$150 and Burger Bash Metal

 

Individuals Attending will get Voting Ballot to vote on:

People’s Choice (Burger Bash Basket)

Best Between the Buns (Burger Bash Basket)

Best on Top (Burger Bash Basket)

Best Duo – Side, drink, something to pair with burger (Burger Bash Basket)
